What is the mission of the event?: Offering a safe place for people to share their mental health stories and express themselves artistically; building a connection between cast and audience, empowering them to share their mental health journeys without shame; creating community connections and advocates for breaking through mental health stigmas. ***Also, any net profit will be shared to the mental health community!***
Who should attend this event?: Each storyteller has a unique journey that is vulnerable, honest, and encouraging. I recommend the age of 18+ as language may be an issue for some people; however, I think it's important for younger adults to attend, as mental health effects all ages. It's up to the parent/family member/ caregiver/ etc. to make the decision.
