Texas Opioid Prevention for Students (TOPS) ECHO, presented by the Texas A&M Health Telehealth Institute and the TOPS initiative this spring! This free 3-part professional development series is designed for rural school counselors, nurses, and school personnel. Each session provides practical tools and expert insights to help you strengthen awareness and response strategies related to the growing fentanyl crisis impacting students and families. Participants can earn 1 CEU per session, with the opportunity to gain up to 3 free CEUs by completing the series. Thursdays | 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM OR 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (via Zoom) Session Schedule:

What is the mission of the event?: Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to provide initial help and support to those who may be developing a problem or experiencing a crisis.
Who should attend this event?: Adult MHFA is for adults 18+ to help and support other adults. This is a FREE course, but requires registration and a short pre-course survey (sent by email prior to the event). Attendees will earn a 3-year MHFA Certification and 7.5 Hours of Continuing Education Credits.
